Offshore Call Centers
Offshoring is the process of taking a business process, manufacturing process or service process and sending it to another country, overseas, to be completed.
This is generally looked at as a cost saving process, but also one in which you sacrifice quality of your operation or your product. Many North American companies outsource their call centers to offshore companies in the Philippines and India.
Why use an Offshore Call Center?
For most companies, utilizing the call center services of an offshore call center comes down to money. The money saved for companies can be in the thousands of dollars for even the smallest companies. The money saved usually comes from the cost differences in labor between India, or another offshore location, when compared to the going rate for an equal employee in the United States, England or another high paying location.
Another one of the reasons many companies choose to use an offshore call center company is for the time saved in personnel management. This is mainly the hiring, firing and training that comes along with new employees. These costs can even be greater than the cost of the actual employee, but they are hard to measure.
If you have ever thought about taking a portion of your business offshore, today is the day!
