Call Center Answering Machine
Last week we talked about call center overflow. For some companies that can be more cost than they’re prepared to afford. For small companies, hiring an outside company to take their overflow and weekend calls is cost prohibitive. These companies still need to be able to hear who is calling. One of the best ways is an answer machine. However, cassette tape answering machines should be left in the 1980’s. Today we’re looking at internet answering machines.
The beauty of an internet answer machine isn’t just the fact that it’s inexpensive. By the way, you can even get a free trial. Apart from the cost, an online answering machine allow you to check your messages and voice mail from anywhere in the world. If you travel from your call center to Barbados you can still get online and check your missed messages and return those that are important.
This is especially important for call center owners. If you’re away at a call center conference or on vacation you can still hear your messages and return or act upon important calls before you get back to the office.
